Victor Parker received his first Kodak Brownie Camera as a Christmas gift when he was 11 years old. He has been taking photos ever since. Up until recently while living in England, his most active period was in the 1970's while living in New York City where he became a prolific freelance photographer while studying at the International Center of Photography. For the last 25 years he has lived in several European countries as well as the American West and Hawaii working in the resort industry, all the while continuing to take photos. Victor Parker photographs have been published in many newspapers and magazines such as The New York Times, LA Times and The London Observer. His work appears in private collections around the world including the National Portrait Gallery of Great Britian in London. He has appeared on the BBC with Lord Snowdon and Ansel Adams. The original Mystic Landscapes were first exhibited in NYC at The Jack Morris Gallery. He has recently been reworking the the images and continues to accept commissions for dynamic one of a kind works for private homes,offices, public spaces, nightclubs, coffee houses and the like.
